A few things customers commonly ask about our engraved decanters, glassware, cases, quality checks and shipping.
Why do you use glass instead of crystal?
Lead Leaching: Traditional crystal contains lead oxide. Alcohol pulls the lead from the glass over time, raising lead levels in the liquid to unsafe amounts
Regular Glass: Standard glass decanters do not leach toxins and are completely safe for holding spirits indefinitely.
Is my order shipped directly to my door?
Yes. Your completed order is carefully packed and shipped directly to the shipping address entered during Shopify checkout.
Is each decanter set inspected before it ships?
Yes. Each decanter and glass is inspected before shipment for overall condition and engraving quality so the finished set meets our quality standards.
Which sets include a wood presentation case?
The Decanter + 2 Glasses and Decanter + 4 Glasses packages include a wood presentation case. When one of those sets is selected, you can choose a Black or Brown case.
Will every engraving look exactly the same?
The artwork is kept consistent, but small variations in the glass and the way light reflects through it can make each finished piece look slightly different. That is part of the character of an engraved glass product.
How should I care for the engraved glass?
For the best long-term appearance, we recommend gentle hand washing with a soft cloth or sponge and avoiding abrasive cleaners or scrubbers.
